I.'m. So. Tired.

9.31 right now.... and I'm still yawning. before I confuse you guys I'ma start at the very beginning...

Friday 5.30- We finally leave for New York, mainly cause dad was bitching that we're late and crap.. like he always does. But we got on the road, none the less. Brought my laptop, gameboy, all kinds of stuffies to do for the ride up there, but I just mainly listened to my mp3 player O_o. Go figure. But.. i DID pull out my CATS dvd and watched my favorite parts.. (sings to Rum Tum Tugger, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, Macavity, Mr. Mostoffilies, and Memory music. haha, i'm such a dork). I watched a little bit of Kaleido Star also, but I'm currently missing my 3rd dvd because a friend in my drawing class is watching the series. But the trip was ok. WE had to stop quite a few times because legs at to be streched, bladders needed to be empty, etc. I rarely got out of the car.. I could strech my legs inside the car.. "Oh, what skill.." *lmao* We even went over the (new?) Woodrow Wilson bridge in Maryland.. mommy has to corss that bridge when we lived up in Maryland everyday cause she worked at the Pentagon. But with that stuck in mind, I was so oblivious to where we were at one point I asked mom if we were still in Virginia or Maryland and she goes "No, Delaware." O.O Ah, um..... ok....
We stopped for dinner at a Pizza Hut, and I pointed out that the roof of the Pizza Hut is a Polyneasion (I totally butchers that word..) style roof. I don't think anyone cared, but whatever. They said that it would have been about a 45 minute wait, so we went to Denny's instead. I Denny's. So I had breakfast for dinner. And I was all giddy in there.. I have no idea why, but it seems that every time we go to a Denny's everything jsut gets crazy. I think their secret recipe (sp?) in the pancake is crack. i SWEAR it! Eitehr that or someone spiked my 2 large OJs..
So, we're driving, driving, driving, and we had to meet up with my brother's karate instuctor. Rob, but because of his belt ranking, everyone calls him Shihan, so that's what I will refer to him by. So since Shihan and his wife Cindy lived in New York for their entire lives.. until they moved to Virginia.. they had to guide us through New York (we followed them. *laughs*) We had to go across the Verazano bridge, and it was so BIG and PRETTY at night... [link] there is a link that shows the Verazano.. It was pretty. Gimme a break. But we cross that, I can't even remember what time it was at that point. But we kept going for a while. We passed Coney Island where Cindy's mom would take her when she was little. I wanted to go.. but i doubt there were open that late. haha. But I digress, we ended up pulling into the hotel that we and Shihan's family were staying at at exactly 2am. *keels over* I was pretty damn tired at that point, and all I wanted to do was go to sleep. But we had to check in, drive around until we found a parking space, and unload the car. Do you know how cold it is in New York at 2 inthe morning? yeah. We got everything inthe room, and I had to assemble my cot. I WILL NOT sleep in a hotel bed. I appall hotels PERIOD. and.. I couldn't get free internet.. but I'll get into that later.
*sigh* this thing is getting long.. hang in there..
The next morning, 8.30am (maybe? 8 something..) Shihan calls our room. I was awake, but still resting. I had to jump up and grab the phone. gah! But he calls for Joey, so I'm like "i have to wake him up? geez.." so i'm poking him awake. haha, but fast forward a little bit.. Joey was able to get into the "Super secret senimar" before the real seminar began, so both joey and shihan went to that and we all hung out at Shihan's room w/ Cindy and their 3 kids. But Shihan, mom and I went to go get breakfast before the "super secret seminar" began, so we found a bagel place. Shopping or doing anytihng else in New York is ALOT different from Virginia. Everyone sorta crowds around the cash register, wiating for the people to take their order, and then you do get your order in you step back and let the person behind you swarm the register until your order is up and then you gotta squeeze your way back through the crowd. gah. It's not exactly like that but it's pretty close. But after a little bit of waiting, we got our food. I just got a plain bagel, and then we got back to the room, I pulled it out to eat it, and it was huge!! About the size of my hand, but yeah.
Fast forwarding a tiny bit, and the "super secret seminar" began. I did pretty much nothing for a while.. read the Negima vol. 4 for a bit, when back to Cindy's room where my mom and dad were taking with her about a problem that going on within my family for a bit. Everything's cool, though. No need to worry. But yeah.. after the "super secret seminar" ended, the real one started. I had a hell of a time trying to get internet. It wasn't wireless in the room.. it was wired, and I could not get online. Mom paid for it for Sat, but it must have been my computer settings or something, cause no matter what I did, I couldn't get on. But it was really weird, cause when I was in the senimar room, I found a wireless network. *score!!* So i was able to get on for a bit.
After the seminar, our family and Shihan's family went to the 'meet and greet' thing at Bennigan's (sp?) that was for the senimar people and families. I had to babysit the 3 young creatures, as usual, but it was all good. ^^ Took some funny pictures of them, but I haven't got them up yet. too tired.
After dinner we went to an Ekerd's or whatever.. I wanted to see if they had an "I NY" shirt, but they didn't. :shrugs: Oh well. ran around the store with Shihan's fam for a bit. it was fun.
After we got back to the hotel, I think we went to sleep.

Got up at like.. 6am the next day. The tournament was that dad. gah, but after putting everything into the car and checking out, we headed over to the local community college. That palce was bigger than PVCC, and we were only in one area of it. I think, but whatever! ^^
We all settle in, and we put shit across some bleachers at every tournament to save seats, and I asked why we were saving so many, and mom said that Cindy's family were coming. You see, a while back, Cindy's stepbrother Patrick came down for Junior Olympics one year. I was, idk.. early preteens at the time? But yeah, I thought he was pretty cute. So when she said that, I was kinda wondering if he's be tagging along too. I asked who all was coming, and mom goes "Her dad, stepmom, patrick, and patrick's girlfriend." O.O Um, ok.
Tournament starts, well, the DEMOS actually start. Lots of "butterfly" moves ([link]) and backflips. Eh. I leaned over to mom and asked "when's the real karate start?" lol, j/k, slightly, but it was interesting to watch. So the tournament starts, everything's fine, cindy''s family get there a little while after it starts, but something happened in Gage's ring while they were doing the kata portion. Gage is the middle child of Shihan's family, btw. Gage gets a 1st place in Kata, and some guy's son takes 2nd. Well, the father came over to Gage, woh is what.. 5? maybe, idk, but the father come up to him and says, to his FACE, that he had no business winning becuase his son is a world champion. WTF!!!!!??????!!!!!!!???????? You're jsut jilted because Gage was better than your son, and even the JUDGEs said so! They came up to the father and SAID that Gage was better than his son. The father was saying that it was rigged or whatever, and even asked GAge where he LIVED. WHAT THE HELL????? Well, Cindy was PISSED. But after his kid takes 1st int he Sparring (fighting) area, and Gage takes second, the father was standing next to Cindy and was all "OH YEAH! Representing Long Island New York!" Liek he was rubbing it in her face! THEY'RE 5 YEARS OLD! The son was polite and stuff, that's what I was told by Cindy. The father was just an asshole.
Nothing of too much importance happened. Joey got two 1st and a 2nd. He had to stay for the "Grand Champion" thingy.. He took 2 of those titles, got placks (i dont know how to spell that word. >.< for those.. we had a hard time fitting the 1st palces throphies (can't spell that either) into the car, so we had to take them apart and put it in piece by piece. It was pretty funny. But we all (my family, Shihan's family, and Cindy's family) went to a reasturant and had dinner.
After that, we all headed home. It was aobut 5.30 ( i think..) then. We had to cross the Verazano bridge again. So pretty.. I wanted to put it in my pocket and take it home with me.. hehe. But I watched more CATS and Kaleido Star. We finally got home at 1.50. not that much difference from when we arrived at NY. But it took about 5 mintues to unload the car. We were all tired, so we got it done pretty fast. I crashed on the couch and put my new pink with white hearts fleece blanket on top of me and then put the huge blanket my mom made for me a while back on top of that. All I can say is when I woke up, I wasn't cold. ^^ This will come in handy.. haha

But yes.. overall it was a fairly good trip. But I missed my Virginia. Not being able to see the stars at night and stupid New York drivers irratated me.

Well.. it's offical.

I'm sick.

And it sucks.




Well, technically, I'm not 100% sure if I AM sick, but it sure as hell feels like it.. I've been coughing like crazythe last few days. I feel bad for my classmates, because I probably make them want to put a bullet through my head jsut to shut me up.. I know I get irratated when someone is constantly coughing around me, but the tables have turned! *cough* I woke up this morning, and it hurt so bad to shallow. It doesn't hurt that much anymore.. *cough X 3* but that's because I've had 2 glasses of orange juice *cough* to drink since I woke up.. And now I'm starting to develop a headache from all this stupid coughing... X_x

*stops to watch tv for a minute*

And the bad thing about being sick RIGHT NOW is that I have.. parties to go to tonight.. 2 at my brothers karate school. I get to chaparone (sp?) a bunch of little kids and make sure they don't kill each other after the pinata is opened.. Anyone wanna take bets on how many kids'll cry this time? Ok, that was mean..

But then I get to go to a party at 10-12 tonight at my college. I really hope that some of my other friends will be there..
And my mom is tweaking my costume right now.. I'm gonna be an angel *cough (ow.. that one hurt..)* My wings are the only thing that's messed up.. the elastic that go around the arms are WAY tight, so mom is putting some new elastic on.. If you all ask nicely, I'll post pictures! If I bring a camera.. *note to self-bring digital camera*

But I must take a shower really soon.. and when mom gets home she needs to help me straighten my hair. ^^

School? Eh. don't feel lke updating, but not too much has changed. I have barely any homework this weekend. And you all know what that means...

Personal Life

Well, since I won't have tons to do now that my Japanese class is dropped, I descided (sp?) to illustrate a Webcomic for one of my friends. I hav eto make up 4 character ref sheets, and if he likes them and me as the artist, I'll continue the comic. I'm not 100% if i'll put it up on this account or my account.. my othe account is for my more serious works.. like my college works, so i'm not sure if it'll be up here or on that account...
